HELP!! PS11 crisis

I've been playing with the thought of getting a Proenza Schouler PS11 bag for a while now, but just can't seem to decide which color I wanna go for.. Clearly, it is one of the most gorgeous bags existing at the moment (in my opinion) so they're all equally beautiful.
 So which color??!!!

"Headpiece"

We all love interesting fashion editorials, but only rarely I get really inspired by one. I adore how the stylists at Glamour layered all the items they wanted to show on the models' head and used only body paint to emphasize the "headpiece". Also, they styled them according to look, from rock, to ethno, summery and sporty styles. Anyways, this is exactly what I mean by highlighting the "fou" side of fashion. It makes the editorial more than an accessories recommendation page for the reader, but a beautiful piece of art.

Yellow

After my first pedicure in yellow, I can't stop thinking about this color. Already my mom told me it suited me on my fifth birthday (I wore a girly yellow dress with cherry print and puffy sleeves) but I ignored it for years. Now I just want to get everything in yellow. Below some inspiration..

Postcard Prints

Not everyone is lucky enough to wake up every morning to a "Stella McCartney Shirt type of view"- I am, haha!! Anyways, these prints are not just for people who want to bring the beach feeling closer.. Personally, I think they work best where they come from: beachy prints on bathing suits and bikins to wear to the beach (best from We Are Handsome) but the look is great on basically any surface.

Princesse

It was not necessarily my favorite outfit from the 65. Cannes film festival opening events, but it most certainly is one of the most spectacular and stunning. Looks to me like a swan, chantilly, a mermaid, a bride and a princess combined in one dress. Bottom line, I think it's beautiful.

Yayoi Kusama Pour Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton is launching a new line called Infinitely Kusama in collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, whose signature it is to create all kinds of surfaces (paintings, sculptures and even humans) coated in colorful polka dots. Not just for fans of polka dots, there is a lot to expect from Infinitely Kusama. Click here to read more about the artist and the collection.

More Sparkles, Please!

My amazing friend, whose love for everything sparkly I already mentioned here, has striked again. This time it's GOLDEN + SPARKLY + SPIKED loafers paired with hot pink boyfriend jeans. Who cannot love this combination, especially on her!

"Versailles In A Socialist France"

Chanel's 2013 Cruise presentation was all about France's Golden Age before the revolution. The show took place in the Versailles gardens and was a mix of the 18th century Marie Antoinette look and contemporary fabrics, such as tech denims, plastics etc.. The recent elections added a hint of irony to the frivolous setting and collection. Karl Lagerfeld perfectly described his last masterpiece(s) as "Versailles In A Socialist France".

Backless

I don't like to show a lot of cleavage, I have the strong opinion that it's not for every girl to show (see what I think about it here). Instead I like to wear backless tops, shirts and dresses. Perfect to combine with a high waist midi or maxi skirt for a casual summer look.

White Socks

The white sock finally has made it's way into becoming fashionable. After years it has been mocked and banned to sportswear only, Oscar de la Renta is now showing a spring style, highlighting this exact same sock worn with pink stilettos. Let's hope that the white sock makes a comeback as successful as the color printed sock worn with cheetah Miu Miu platforms (for example).

Manspiration: Reversed

We've been getting inspired by the men's wardrobe forever, probably even before the beginning of fashion. Today this inspiration is a two-way street. Fashionable men now wear Birkin bags, Chanel and Lanvin, all symbols of femininity AND are looking good! Best examples are japanese fashion journalist yu masui and blogger Bryanboy.

Sporty

I broke a record. This week, for the first time ever, I managed to exercise my body in some way, everyday. Now, I look hideous when running- firstly I just run in a weird way, secondly I start breathing really funny (my sportiness) and end up breaking every few minutes, but lastly: I don't have proper work out clothes. If I keep my motivation (bikini) up, this what's next on my shopping list.

Summer Basics

I'm in urgent need for some new summer basics. It's weird, they're called basics, meaning they should go with anything at any time. Still, every season I find myself adding some new pieces, which in the best case, complete my existing army of basic white T-shirts, blouses etc..

Fou or Chou? Wearing Something Crazy To The Met Ball

Again, the annual opening of the Metropolitan's fashion exhibit, celebrating Prada, showed extraordinarily dressed guests on the red carpet. Amongst many beautiful robes -my favorites were Amber Heard, Diane Kruger and Chanel Iman in beautifully elegant dresses with a nice twist- there were also the usual "risky dressers". But in the end, what is better to wear, especially at one of the most important fashion events of the year? Better save or risky? Here are three of the most dared ensembles, that I still can't figure out whether to find more chou or more fou..

So simple, yet so genius

Sometimes you see a woman who just looks great when wearing a simple outfit. Don't get me wrong, I found nothing bad about overloading outfits with different cuts, fabrics, prints, accessories etc. when done in the right way, but seeing a woman wearing something simple and looking as gorgeous, is rare. It seems like Aussie women -who I always thought had absolutely no style- work this look exceptionally well, at least the ones' Tommy Ton captured off- catwalk at Sydney fashion week.

Look 1) Your boyfriend is very tall, very strong and very big. Just take his training Shirt (or buy), and pair it with a pair of really feminine heels (no plateau, it's not a walk of shame!!) and a little designer pouch.

Look 2) Choose a whole outfit in the same tone. It's more interesting to use different prints (see above) but different fabrics or details can also work. Now,  simply add a handbag in a statement bold color. Personally, I love how the orange works with the navy.

Look 3) Combine a slouchy grey short with an even more slouchy, white silk top !!!!tucked in!!!! Throw over a structured blazer and big buckled belt and that's it. Sweatshirt wrapped around waist is optional, but if you can pull it off, go ahead!

Look 4) The woman in this picture is extra genius. She clearly likes biker accessories, such as the leather vest and the spiked leather and metal bracelets. BUT, as she knows it would be too much to wear all of this, especially in a warmer climate, she decided to get it all in pastel colors for a feminine and summery touch.

More On Rose Cause I'm Feeling Rosy

It's been so beautiful lately, that I've been starting to slowly interchanging my black and grey winter favorites into more bright pieces. Although I haven't been so much into pinks since 6th grade, the blush shade of this girly color has been starting to grow on me. Here are some of my princesse-like favorites.
